GO GATX0RZ!!!!!

Not even 10 minutes after the Florida Gators won the BCS title, their main page displayed that they were the 2008 national champs.

Almost 70% of their entire student body is on some sort of mind altering substance. Not to mention about 50% of that 70% are out in the streets, 5% of that 50% are probably naked.

Granted I don't have actual data to base these statistics off of, but I'm 65% right.

I got invited by David Walsh (AKA Walshy) to Michigan at the end of February for a 300 man LAN. I am already registered and ready to go. Hotel arrangements are the only thing that need to be finalized. I'm pretty damn excited. There will be a live broadcast of the LAN. When more details are given to me I'll be sure to post them.

Mama-Mia will always be a Mario reference to me.

1/04/2009

I wanted to write about a few things before I headed to bed tonight.

1) I will never watch the movie "Mama Mia". I have heard it being watched by other people which technically does not count due to the fact I've heard Abba before. But I will never watch this movie.

Actually, lets back track.

1) Rum and Coke is an amazing drink.

2) I will never watch the movie "Mama Mia". I have heard it being watched by other people which technically does not count due to the fact I've heard Abba before. But I will never watch this movie.

3) My girlfriend is seemingly addicted to two things as of tonight. Downloading new furniture for our Sims characters and Super Stardust for the PS3/ PSP. I do not mind either of these addictions what-so-ever.

I bought a book dedicated solely to Zelda and Philosophy. Awesome. I also bought Porn and Pong: a look on how sex and video games have influenced our culture.

I'm not writing too much tonight. My attention span is extremely slim right now and I have no more Rum and Coke to drink.

'Tis sad. =(

Happy 2009.

As the new year dawns on us, many people like to reflect back on 2008. I did something more. I managed to figure out that my PlayStation 3 does more than just play BluRay movies.

It plays games as well.

Not only does it play games, but there is something called the PlayStation Store where you can download games directly to the hard drive. I KNOW! THATS WHAT I SAID!!

My XBox 360 has mainly become my source for practicing Halo for MLG. Aside from that my PS3 has become a new toy that I've always had, just never used. I'm loving it. I'm re-dicovering all of the old games I loved to play. Its like going to visit your grandparents after not seeing them for a few years, only to discover they had massive amount of plastic surgery done and look great in 1080p.

Wait, what?

Home is still kind of a let down. The only reason I would continue to use Home is to show off my trophies. Sony has not implemented that yet which is a big let down so far.

Its like after seeing your grandparents with their brand new plastic surgery only to find out they passed on the opportunity to get a face lift for free but passed it up until a later, unspecified date.

I just hope Sony can get out of this rut they are in. I love my 360, I just am getting tired of playing the same damn games over and over again. PS3 at least has fresh new titles that are breaking the boundaries of gaming with originality. And if it isn't completely original, its at least showing everyone that it is attempting to be original.

I also hope that Sony gets with the times and offers more of their games in 1080p. Fallout 3 only going up to 720p when the 360 version gets the full 1080?

Thats like seeing your grandparents with their new plastic surgery only to find out it was your grandfather that got the boob job.

PSN= DudeStorm. Add me if you feel the need for some social Wipeout, Tekken, or Crash Commandos.

For the first time in my holiday shopping experience I feel that this year wasn't so bad. I go into a store, find exactly what I'm looking for, and then I'm out. Even if I have to wait in line, no one is complaining, telling you to move forward if you take an extra millisecond to breathe, or racing around the parking lot for parking spaces. Its actually been a relief. I am about to brave the mall one final time before the holidays are over. I also have to stop by Wine and Spirits for last minute alcohol for tomorrow. Will 7-11 be open tomorrow? Wal-Mart? (Excuse me... Wal*Mart)

Hopefully all goes well for you and you families.

I hate the internet. I love it... but I hate it. Or at least I want to hate it. Everything is accessible to you 24/7. Sometimes a good thing and in most cases usually a good thing. In terms of gaming online with friends then YES to the internet. In terms of gaming online with strangers then MEH to the internet. (Don't try to spell check me internet, "meh" is an official word now... or it will be. One or the other. Tiger Woods said so.)

People seem to have an automatic mask they put on while using the internet. If the internet was a physical being and was right next to me, I probably wouldn't be blogging about him/ her right now, given he/ she was looking at what I was typing and if he/ she was next born then I/ me would not be able to publish post/ save now to the internet.

*breath back in*

I bought a book called "Ultimate Blogs" tonight. So if the internet ever breaks, I have some of it downloaded onto paper!

DJ I-Dee

I was on the front page of Joystiq and noticed a post called "The Best Thing You'll See Today: DJ I-Dee's 8-bit music video". The name 'DJ I-Dee' seemed familiar to me, but I didn't know where from. After checking out his MySpace I realized that he used to frequent Roxanne's, a bar/ club that I used to frequent as well. He's pretty game oriented with his music now. I downloaded his album 'Solitude' off the Zune Marketplace just now, and it is not bad at all, especially from a gamer's standpoint.
